NewsUnzip (newsunzip.com) respects the intellectual property rights of photographers, filmmakers, artists, publishers, and other rights holders, and we expect our authors and visitors to do the same. We respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable copyright laws.
Our Commitment
- NewsUnzip is a news and entertainment publication. We report on events, including film releases and industry developments, and we do not host, upload, or link to pirated movies, torrents, or other infringing files.
- We aim to publish only original, licensed, public-domain, or permission-based images and content.
- If you believe any content on this website infringes your copyright, please tell us. We will investigate and act promptly.
- We may remove or disable access to reported content without prior notice to the author of that content.
How to Submit a Copyright Infringement Notice
Please email your notice to:
Email: [email protected]
Subject line: DMCA Takedown Request
To be valid, your notice should include:
- Your contact information: full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (for example, a link to the original photo, film, or article).
- Identification of the infringing material: the exact URL(s) on newsunzip.com where it appears, so we can locate it.
- A statement of good faith: “I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”
- A statement of accuracy and authority: “The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the copyright owner or am authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
- Your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is acceptable).
Incomplete notices may delay our response.
What Happens After We Receive a Notice
- We will review your notice, normally within 48 to 72 hours.
- If the notice is valid, we will remove or disable access to the content in question.
- We may notify the person responsible for the content that it has been removed and provide a copy of the notice.
Counter-Notification
If you believe content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice.” It must include:
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the removed material and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the court for your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which the website operator may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
If we receive a valid counter-notification, we may forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not notify us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the material.
Piracy and Illegal Content Policy
NewsUnzip does not support or promote piracy. We do not publish download links, streaming links, or instructions for accessing pirated or leaked copyrighted content. Where a news article refers to a leak or an act of piracy, it is reported as news only, without directing readers to any infringing source. If you find content on our site that appears to facilitate access to pirated material, please report it to us and we will remove it.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, we will terminate the access of authors or contributors who are repeat infringers of copyright.
Misrepresentation Warning
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees. Please make sure your claim is valid before submitting a notice.
Image Sourcing Policy
Images on NewsUnzip are used only if they are original, licensed, in the public domain, available under a license that permits reuse (with proper attribution), or used with the permission of the rights holder. We do not knowingly host unauthorized copies of copyrighted images. If you see an image that violates this policy, please contact us immediately.
